A Day with Feminism is a day that we are living today, all people are created equal regardless of their skin, race, gender or character. I think we are so blessed to live in a country were we all have the same opportunity to become somebody. Some many people are allowed to express their-selves. Women have the right to choose to have an abortion or not. Without feminism women would be forced to keep a child they couldn’t take care of. The only problem that I would have with feminism is that gay people would be able to have legalized gay marriage in all fifty states. I think that would cause alot of problems because alot of people would be incomfortable with this. I think that it would have to be a graudual thing to happen if it did happen.

The law against the women should be looked at in detail. The governments should look at the interests of the women and, stop discriminating against women. The issue of property is very simple to me. If a person father or mother owns the land then their children should inherit the land regardless of their citizenship. I think that the government is always trying to found way to make it harder for people to own their own land. They put high taxes on the land that many of the  people who own the land cant pay.

I thought that this article was very strange. I didn’t understand why the lady would tell the man that was raping her that she thought his penis was big. She should have been trying to get him off of her. But I guess I cant judge a book by it’s cover because I wasn’t in her situation. I think that as a young girl she was mislead. I say this because as a child she was taught to be such a good lady full of grace, politeness ,and at the same time she wasn’t taught that she should fight back. Now, today she has to live with what that man did to her. Maybe, if she would have fought back or was taught that it’s not ok to let strangers into your apartment that terrible thing wouldn’t have happen to her.

This was the hardest article I ever read. I really didn’t understand it that much.  I know that the author was talking about storytelling, artwork and how each culture view is about. But, I don’t understand how it relates to women studies at all. I tried to answer all the question to the best of my knowledge.

I think that society is changing for the better good. I know that’s it’s hard for alot of men who were grow up seeing their father being the breadwinner. And now as a grown men they think that they should be the breadwinner. This article really brings out the old myth of how men would make all the money to provide for the family while the wife stay at home and care for the family. Also, it discuss the new ways in which women are making a change to the old myths. I am glad that more women are standing up and making a change for a new and better life.

 I really enjoyed this reading because it discuss how society view mothers today.There are several challenges that a mother must complete each and everyday. Being a mother takes time and effort it doesn’t just happen over night.Some many mothers today have to struggle with having a balance in their lives. I know growing up I know it was hard for my mother she would have to work two jobs,so that me and my siblings could be taken care of. And when a person is working two jobs it’s kind of hard to have a life with your family. I think that there are alot of mother who try there very best to be the perfect mother but at the end of the day she has to realize that she is only human. Also mothers have to juggle with their part-time or full time job which takes a lot out of them. At the same time they are pressured to be a good mother. Mothers have to learn to not stress out, lose their minds while during their duties as a mother. By having a little bit of help the mothers could have more quality time to spend with their family,they can relax, stop running around like some lunatics,and have a better marriage.

I think that the article was very informative. I didn’t know that women were treated so different than a man when it came down to  health problems. I thought that we treated in the same manner. It’s shame to learn that some male doctors when  a women is being treated for sexual abused they the physicans acted in a sexually inappropriate way toward the women. This is very  unprofessional. I think that I would be more comfortable with a women doctor than a male doctor. Women doctors are more understanding and nurturant.

This article was very different I never thought of the idea if a man could menstruate. I believe that if a man could the would be more understand of what a women goes through  every month. They will feel some of the emotions we have. It’s a shame how women aren’t being recognize, are not receiving any government help buying personal items for women. There should be some funded programs for women menstruating. Some people cant afford to buy some of their personal items. There shouldn’t be no women who doesn’t have the money to get their personal items.

I think that the article “Romance Sweet Love was a great article.  It really breaks down the way that many people see love. It also explains the way culture and society works to influence the way we think about love. Men are mostly concerned with erotic connection. They are not concerned if they have anything any common with the woman, or if they share the same values. Men to me only look at the outside the physical part of a women. Men should look on the inside before engaging in a sexual relationship. They should not let their penis think for them. Women should not lower their standards just be a man is lacking something that she wants.  Many people today don’t know the true meaning of love. They let the mass media and movies make their perceptions on how love should be. They believe that women are the romantics, and are more sentimental about love and, men are just the followers.

I think that the movie was very fun and interesting. It’s a film that the whole family would enjoy. The film shows the many different roles that women and men play in soceity. It also display different sterotypes that many people would display for each others culture’s. I think that the film teaches people to be very open minded of other people cultures.  We must learn that we cant always please everyone. You have to do what’s comfortable for you. I really enjoyed the film.
